Each year, First Covenant is honored to join in remembrance of those who have died while homeless.  The event begins as participants march from the Hennepin County Government Center (300 South 6th Street) to Simpson United Methodist Church (2740 1st Ave S. Minneapolis) carrying signs with the names of those who have died.  At the church, the names are read and a candle is lit for each person who is being remembered.  The service concludes with an open time of sharing and remembrance, followed by a community meal.
