Global Impact E-mail

Jesus gave his followers the mandate to tell people of every tribe, language and nation the good news that God has come and demonstrated his love for us through his life, death and resurrection.

This is our mission as a church. It begins within our city and extends to many parts of the world.


First Covenant supports the following people and their ministries:

ImageMartha (Marti) Ahlquist . Martha (Marti) Ahlquist. Marti lives in the Dallas, TX, USA and serves with Wycliffe Bible Translators at their International Headquarters there. Her role is two-fold: Children's Education Consultant and Child Safety Response Team Member.

ImageTom & Donna Albinson. Tom serves as president of the International Association for Refugees (IAFR). Donna leads a local small group ministry known as Hope for the Wounded that offers hope and healing to survivors of abuse.

ImageRichard & Cheryl Bevis. Richard and Cheryl serve with the Evangelical Covenant Church in northern Thailand in the area of economic development and discipleship.

ImageDale & Jewell Erickson. Dale and Jewell direct the charity "Growing Through" in Great Britian through which they offer workshops and seminars to train and equip Christians to reach out to others in areas of felt needs.

ImageTodd & Yolanda Eklund. Todd and Yolanda serve with MRC sharing the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ in Mexico. Todd also teaches English at various universities in East Asia.

ImageBolt & Liz Moore. Bolt and Liz  have returned from Macedonia and currently make their home in the Twin Cities area.  However, they  continue to  counsel  local Christians in Macedonia and  will make occasional visits to that country. Although Bolt is employed in the business world, both he and Liz will continue their discipleship ministries in the States..
